Organized with the strong support from the Maltese Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Economic Affairs, H.E. Mr Ray Azzopardi, Ambassador of Malta to Belgium, and our CIDIC Envoyé Spécial to Valletta, Mr David Mangion, the DEAC (Diplomatic, Economic, Academic, Cultural) Days were acclaimed as highly successful by all the participants.
This excellent result has further enhanced our determination to continue the development of our DEAC concept by organizing DEAC Days and other activities with the country holding the six-monthly rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union.
We are more than ever, convinced that our DEAC activities contribute to re-dynamise the European inland economy as well as the sense of a shared European citizenship.
During our latest mission to Valletta, Malta we had the opportunity to meet the highest authorities within each economic and academic sectors, not to forget the diplomatic part. You will discover all the names and titles when browsing the enclosed photo gallery.
At this occasion, the Governor of the Province of Liège, Mr. Hervé JAMAR had some very useful personal meetings too.
The University of Malta welcomed us together with the UNICA’s President Prof. Saso as well as its General Secretary Mrs Dejonckheere assisted by our Academic Attaché Mr. Cornelis for academic and scientific exchanges.
To end in style the EUROPEAN CIDIC AWARDS were handed over by the President of the Maltese Republic H.E. Mrs Marie Louise Coleiro Preca in her prestigious presidential palace of San Anton – Attard, to the following companies and organisations:
